7th edition 'Claus per bioemprendre'

The FBG organizes the seventh edition of the course "Claus per bioemprendre" with the aim of sharing experiences of Catalan bioenterpreneurs with graduates and researchers in life sciences and biomedicine, so that this exchange shall be a source of motivation new initiatives.

The course has the support ofAssociació de Biotecnòlegs de Catalunya (ASBTEC), Biocat, CataloniaBio and Science & Business Events Management. The course also has the sponsorship of the Foundation Dr. Antoni Esteve.

The total price of the course is 50 € (members and members of the UB Group ASBTEC enjoy a reduced rate of 30 euros).

H2020: Proposals submitted

The Commissioner Moedas informs that H2020 has already received as many proposals (140.000) as all FP7. This successful program has another face: the very highly competitive researchers do not manage European funding at a time when national budgets decreased RDI. The success rate is low by the standards of research programs, ranging between 12 and 14%, a sharp drop compared to the average FP7 was between 19 to 21%.

H2020: Conference Science with and for Society 2017

Available the presentations of the conference held on 03.30.2017 in Barcelona that was broadcast by webstreaming and soon you will find videos posted on our website. Referring to the announcement of the program in 2016, Spain ranks as the first state in the number of funded projects, which represented a 6.2 M € (15.06% of the total budget of the call). The success rate of Spanish banks stood at 19.9%, above the European average is 14.2%.

H2020: Impact of RDI

Published the document The Economic Rationale for public R&I funding and its impact of the EU that says that the public funding of research and innovation (RDI) acts as a catalyst to boost productivity and economic growth.
